whew! damn 100 + degrees here on the valley floor and no reprieve until Tuesday when it may drop into the mid 80's, jumped 20 degrees overnight literally and I am just not acclimating well to summer :( ....
I envy my feathered and scaly friends that live high in the surrounding mountains, exception being I would stand less of a chance surviving for any length without DA, a cold Cherry Pepsi and the BBQ
yeah ... an atypical UmanBeAn !!!
anyway posted a couple am heading for altitude and mebbe not returning until after sundown, but that doesn't make it any cooler :(
From the immortal lines from the Wizard of OZ ..... I'm melting!

take only pictures
leave only footprints if you must

I hear ya, Tim! The AC is set at 85 (thank God for ceiling fans!!!) and has been coming on since 9:00. I can't wait until I don't have to do my therapy exercises and can leave the house for more than 3 hours! Enjoy your trip up whichever hill you are taking.

Those big trees do fall. In a few years new trees will be growing on the old tree. Life does go on.

It's alright, one more Saturday to go before I make my way over there.

It's funny, I'm in a place where it may hit 100 a couple of times during July-- our forecast says it may hit 92 by next weekend...heatwave! But I'm venturing back into the fiery depths of he- i mean, the San Joaquin Valley ;)

I still miss it-- except for the heat!
