On my drive back down to the Valley floor I passed a hillside covered with Purple Lupine with Madia, the contrasting colors were so exceptional in the soft morning light I could not resist stopping and photographing them, their sweet smell filled the air and a steady hum of black and yellow bumblebees were busy at work collecting their breakfast ...
